Playing creates natural interactions between children

Located at a rural landscape in Unzen-shi, Nagasaki, the center includes four support projects and an after-school care. The project aims to abolish the difference between disabled people and non-disabled people through natural connection.

Outside, there is a long porch, a waterfront space using an existing well, and a park-like space with a hill and swings that can be used by anyone. A front yard was created to create an open environment both visually and physically.

Inside, the first floor: after school care and the second floor: child development support is connected by net playground equipment which fosters natural interactions between disabled children and non-disabled children.
